Frank Lerch, a resident of Freeport all his life, passed away Saturday morning after an illness of over twenty years.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3:30 at the Schwarz funeral home, Monsignor C. F. Conley, pastor of St. Mary's Church conducting the services. Interment was made in City cemetery.
Frank Lerch was a son of John and Elizabeth Lerch and was born in Freeport, April 18, 1880. He was united in marriage with Elizabeth Nolan, who passed away in January, 1924. Surviving are four sons and one daughter, George Lerch of Dixon, Fred of Rockford, James and John of Freeport, and Margaret, residing in Joliet.
Mr. Lerch was an employee of the American Express company before his illness.
