Gladys A. Henderson, 70, of 11329 Moss Road, Meadville, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Meadville Medical Center following a short illness.
She was born in Slippery Rock, Dec. 11, 1936, a daughter of John Roy and Helen M. Saunders Williams. She married Gaylord (Bucky) Henderson, Dec. 11, 1955. He survives. She was a homemaker. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church of Conneaut Lake.
She took great pride in her family, taking care of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She looked forward to all holidays and sharing time with family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, camping and traveling and was considered a continuous busy lady.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Barbara A. Fink and her husband, Richard L., of Meadville, and Janet M. Greenawald and her husband, William H., of Meadville; a son, Gerald E. Henderson and his wife, Brenda, of Saegertown; three sisters, Dora M. Frantz of Adamsville, Harriet Luciani and her husband, Tony, of Greenville, and Mary Winkler and her husband, Richard, of Meadville; a brother, Emery (Buster) Williams and his wife, Laura, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six grandchildren, Jody Waldemarson, Darcie Snyder, Dana Fink, Michael Greenawald, Gerald Henderson and Gerred Henderson; three great-grandchildren, Anthony Weed, Jacob Weed and Zachary Waldemarson. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul A. Williams; and a grandson, Geremy Henderson.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home, 130 N. Second St., Conneaut Lake.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Third Street, Conneaut Lake, with the Rev. Bruce Davis of the church officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.
