Mrs. Lide Williams

Mrs. Lide Williams, aged 86, of Sandy Creek Township, widow of John Williams, died today, Oct. 18, 1941, at 4 a.m. at the home of her son, Bruce Williams, in Sandy Creek Township. Mrs. Williams fell last Monday and sustained a fracture of her hip which resulted in her death.

Mrs. Williams was born July 27, 1855 in Greenwood Township, Crawford County, to Jefferson and Emily Peterson Williams. Surviving are three sons, Bruce, of Sandy Creek; Fred, of Greenville; Emery, of Cambridge Springs, R. D.; one sister, Mrs. Molly Blair, of Greenwood Township.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 o'clock at Graham's funeral home in Sheakleyville in charge of Rev. Glover Steele, of Greenwood. Interment will be in the Caldwell Cemetery in Sandy Creek Township. Friends may call at Graham's funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
