MALINDA BUTLER - JONAS INGRAM - REUBEN BRAY

MALINDA BUTLER was born January 15, 1779 in Georgia and died January 16, 1850 in Maury County, Tennessee. (Her twin sister was MARY "POLLY" BUTLER LAMAR BROWN. On the 1850 census, MARY is shown as being born in Georgia but researchers have her born in Kentucky and the death record for her twin sister in Maury County, Tennessee indicates she was born in North Carolina.) MALINDA married 1) JONAS INGRAM about 1802 in Logan County, Kentucky, son of JONATHAN INGRAM and BARBARA MENEFEE. He was born about 1780 in Virginia and died about 1809 in Kentucky. She married 2) REUBEN BRAY, son of DAVID BRAY and MARTHA. He was born 1765 and died May 26, 1850 in Maury County, Tennessee.

Both are buried in the Elk Ridge Cemetery located in Giles County, Tennessee, just outside of Lynnville. MALINDA'S twin sister, MARY BUTLER LAMAR BROWN is buried in the New Ramie Cemetery located in Maury County, Tennessee.
